How To Use The Flashcards
These numbers flashcards come in a printable pdf. You get has 10 cards with numbers 1-10 and colorful pictures. Download them at the bottom of this post, and print and cut them out individually. You can laminate them before cutting them if you would like to.
Start by teaching your child how to recognize and say the numbers, then counting can follow. Using one or two numbers at a time to learn how to count is usually ideal and helps your child differentiate between the different quantities.
Paste the cards on the wall or hang them across the ceiling or anywhere where they will be clearly visible to your little one.
You can start by using only 3 flashcards at a time and teach your child how to count from one to three. Increase the number of cards gradually until your little one can count all the way up to ten.
Ask them to do something i.e. closing their eyes or dancing, etc while you count from one to ten and take turns. The more you repeat this the more it helps them memorize the number sequence.
Look for items around the house or outside and count how many of them are there.
