How To Use This Printable
The number cut and paste printable pdf includes five pages with cakes and one page with numbers to cut and paste on the cakes.
To do this activity you will need:
- The cut and paste numbers 1-10 printable pages (download at the end of the post)
- Pair of scissors
- Glue for pasting
- Laminating machine (if you want to reuse the printable repeatedly without losing quality)
Print the activity and cut out the numbers individually and get ready to play. You can separate the cakes as well but it is not required. The little one can help with cutting to make the activity even more fun and put their fine motor skills to work. Just make sure you supervise them while using the scissors.
To play a counting and number sequence game, place the sheets with cakes and the numbers in the correct sequence. Your child should count the numbers from 1 to 10 and also count the candles on the cakes. Start from one and start pasting the numbers in sequence. This helps your little one to count.
If your child is familiar with counting, play and count and match numbers game. Place the sheets and numbers in no particular order and let them pick any random cake, count the candles and look for the correct number to paste.
Make learning fun and add a happy birthday song here and there while matching and pasting the numbers.
