How To Use This Printable
Use this matching activity to match different objects with their shadows and color. There are ten colors to match (green, red, blue, yellow, orange, purple, pink, and brown, grey, and black)
You will need:
- Color matching activity printable (download at the end of the post)
- Pair of scissors for cutting
- Glue for pasting the pictures on the worksheet
- Laminating machine (optional)
Download and print the activity, and laminate the pages if you would like to make them reusable. Leave the pages with the shadows as they are. Cut out the pictures individually and get ready to begin.
Start by checking if your child can identify all the objects in the pictures. Next, practice color recognition. Ask your little one to say all the colors they can see.
To do the actual activity, your child should look at the colors of the shadows and match them with the pictures. While matching, let your little one tell you what is on the picture and say what color it is.
This is a quick and easy exercise and your little will undoubtedly find it interesting.
